My name is Michael
Jackson (For Real) and I am the Administrative Youth Assistant here at
BSFBC. I came on staff in May of 2007. BSFBC has become home for me as
I have gained a greater understanding of God’s purpose for my life here
as well as many friendships.
I got married to my best
friend, Mollie, on June 3, 2006. She is the female Certified Athletic
Trainer at Boiling Springs High School, and is employed by Spartanburg
Regional Medical Center. We both truly have a heart for students and
enjoy working with them on a daily basis.
I received a Bachelor’s
degree from North Greenville University in December of 2003. After
serving oversees in Botswana, Africa, I was called to attend Southern
Seminary Extension in Greenville, SC. I am currently attending there
part-time working toward my Master’s of Divinity in Church Planting.
My Job at BSFBC is event
planning, as well as, the personal assistant to our Youth Minister. Our
Lord has truly taught me a great deal through this ministry because I
am constantly learning of His personal plan for my life. In addition, I
am learning the many aspects of ministry, and how our Lord places each
of us in the exact area we are supposed to be.
Throughout my life the
Lord has had his hand on me. I first accepted Him at the age of 18 and
later gave my life to full-time ministry. I seek to honor him in every
area of my life as He is greatly teaching me daily. However, the most
life altering experience came June 3rd, 2007 when I had the opportunity
to become an ordained
minister.
