Ann Collins Biography

Ann Collins

I serve as the Church Secretary at BSFBC.  My duties place me as the first person most people see when they enter our campus.  I publish most of the newsletters and bulletins. The prayer and hospital information are collected and printed in my office.  I assist with the distribution of the Sunday School News and Adult Connection group communications.

I started out as a newborn in Boiling Springs First Baptist Church as the fifth of five children. My parents were Sherman and Elsie Montieth. At the age of 12, I received Christ into my heart and was saved by a loving and caring God. God moved me to Buck Creek Baptist Church in 1973 and moved me into the path of my husband, Frank Wall. He is the brother of one of my best friends.

I was led to teach teenage girls Sunday School, sing in the choir and support my husband, as he was Music Director. God blessed us at this time with two wonderful children, Stuart and Beth.  Now our children has blessed us with four (under 4 years of age) wonderful grandchildren. God moved us to Boiling Springs after my parents passed away. As we joined and started to serve in Rock Hill Baptist Church, I felt that I was not saved, because of Satan dragging me down with depression over my parent’s death and children problems.  A good friend helped me to understand that I had not put God first place in my life. At that time, I completely gave the Lord control of my heart and life. Since then I have felt the leading of God in all areas of my life.

God led me to start working part-time in a church in Wellford. From 1988 until present, I have served in a church as a Ministry Assistant. What a blessing to be placed back where I started life, to serve Him with friends and family.
